OFL Overhead Flood LIGHT

The Overhead Flood Light (OFL) is designed to provide generous lighting to the flight deck area. It has a compact housing with optional shaders for glare reduction. The OFL is customizable in colors and beam angle and can be combined in multiple modules to fulfill a variety of demands. The housing is made of massive seawater resistant aluminum for performance in extreme marine environments.

The OFL can be adjusted to 6 different beam angle characteristics (10°, 0°, -10°,-20°, -30°, -40°). Multiple Units with varying beam positions can be mounted on top of each other in a tilted position as to evenly flood big flight decks in the near and far part of the deck.

White light and other colors can be combined in the OFL in order to switch between various operational modes in naval operations, e.g. green for NVG mode acc. to STANAG 1445 System integrity and operational reliability is monitored by Optonaval ́s internal electronics combining multiple sensors measuring temperature, humidity and electric current, providing 24 / 7 monitoring of the OFL ́s status. In that respect, the OFL will show an upcoming malfunction before it fails.
